Blockchain Tech Gets Real — Brian Behlendorf, Hyperledger Executive Director

Hyperledger fabric is currently doing 50 million transactions per day in a health care environment.

Brian Behlendorf on scaling the Blockchain.

What We Spoke About

Brian Behlendorf is a team player who really wants to build technology solutions that build things that help us grow and thrive.

If you have any questions about whether or not you should be on the blockchain Brian breaks down an approach and a framework on how you start looking at this.

To get you started, he created a Blockchain course with the Lines Foundation. You can see it on Edx

He shares some of the projects that they are working on to give us a practical example of how Hyperledger is solving real problems.

Of course we chat about trust and what it means with with regard to the blockchain.

He shares some great examples and talks about the limits of Blockchain. We all know that smart contracts will play a huge role going forward. It’s easy when you can track and manage objectively determined truths, however subjective truths need to be programmatically determined, and this gets a little trickier.

With a strong focus of scalability and interoperability, Brian shares his thoughts about how we have progressed and the fact that Hyperledger fabric is currently doing 50 million transactions per day in a health care environment. He had some more interesting thoughts in the podcast.
